Do you look at the people’s faces while the members of your writing group are all reading your text or do you prefer to look elsewhere, afraid to read disapproval on their faces?
Is your heart beating faster just before you hit the button “send” to an editor?
Do you have a lump in your throat when you must read aloud your notes at the writing exercise?
Are your hands moist when you upload a short story into the submission system of a famous review?
Well, I do. And every time I catch myself blushing, I wonder why I am so anxious of readers’ reactions while I had so much fun writing the story itself.
